The purpose of the system – to automate dispatcher operations

The analytical software application ANTOR LogisticsMaster™ is intended for facilitating dispatcher operations and allows large and medium-sized companies delivering goods to clients or transporting cargos to trade outlets or warehouses to automate transport management and route planning processes.

1. List of orders for goods delivery per day. Delivery orders are imported from the Client's information system

2. List of available vehicles. Each vehicle has a number of characteristics, which are taken into account during the calculation process:

• Capacity
• Maximum acceptable cargo volume
• Vehicle status (company vehicle or rented)
• Maximum number of orders to be delivered during one trip
• Maximum acceptable distance run per day, per trip
• Maximum acceptable route duration
• Type of vehicle unloading (side or back).

Output data

1. List of routes containing :

• Route number
• Vehicle (type, state number)
• Cargo weight and volume in a route
• Planned duration of every route
• Route distance
• Number of trade outlets on a route

2. Order form containing:

• The sequence number of a delivery destination point within a route (in the order of progression along the route)
• The name of the client
• Delivery address
• Driver's name, surname, patronymic name
• The estimated arrival time to the client
• Client category (VIP/ordinary)
• Type of goods discharged at a client's location
• Time of unloading

Reports

ANTOR LogisticsMaster™ automatically forms reports on the basis of delivery planning results. Types of standard reports are listed below:

• Route description is a detailed description of each route containing route duration and distance for each vehicle.
• List of routes is intended for a dispatcher and contains information in regards to all planned routes.
• Itinerary sheet for each route contains the name of the driver (last name, first name, patronymic name), state identification number of the vehicle, name and address of the recipient, weight and volume of cargo, estimated arrival time to the client, total duration of the route, estimated route length.
• Orders contain information in regards to succession of deliveries, the name and the address of the recipient, the state identification number of the vehicle, the name of the driver (last name, first name, patronymic name).
• Detailed route description is intended for the driver and contains the name and the address of the recipient, the weight and volume of cargo, map fragment of the route.

The reports can be customized in compliance with the client's requirements and exported into the Customer's accounting system if necessary.

Combine Plan and Fact

Route planning optimization is a good start. However it is very important to control if the drivers follow the planned routes otherwise the risk of optimization on paper only is very high. The most efficient way to exercise control over the driver's work is to integrate ANTOR LogisticsMaster™ together with GPS/GPRS tracking and tracing system ANTOR MonitorMaster. Combined use of both systems allows supervisors and dispatchers to perform on-line control over fulfillment of delivery plans, to compare the planned and the actual routes on a digital map in "Plan-Fact" mode, to identify all deviations from planned routes as well as to solve a number of management and analytical tasks.
